Getting to Andorra

Andorra is a small country in the Pyrenees between Spain and France. It has no commercial airport, so delegates fly to Barcelona or Toulouse and continue by road. Practical details below; venue and hotel information follows with the dates.

Before you travel

Borders and documents
Andorra is outside the EU and Schengen. You arrive through Spain or France, so Schengen entry rules apply to that leg. Carry your passport or national ID; there are border checks.
Money
Andorra uses the euro. Cards are widely accepted.
Mobile data
EU roaming allowances do not cover Andorra. Check your plan before you go.
Insurance
Arrange travel insurance with medical cover. EU health cards may not be valid in Andorra.
Mountain roads
If you drive, check winter tyre and snow-chain rules for Spain, France and Andorra.
Venue and accommodation
To be confirmed. Recommended hotels and group rates will be listed here with the dates.

Optional leisure activities are offered separately, booked and paid for by delegates themselves, and outside the scientific programme. See the Andorra Experience
