Resus Review Beta Back

Terms of service

Version 1.0 · in force from 27 August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Resus Review is a trading name of Dr. Daniel Zajarias-Fainsod, a sole trader based in England and Wales, of 11 Queen's Gate, Oxford, OX2 8HH ("we", "us"). That address is where formal notices and legal documents should be sent. For everything else, reach us at review@resussummit.com.

Your contract is therefore with that person, not with a company. If the business is later incorporated, your contract moves to the company on the terms set out in clause 14, and what you are buying does not change.

2. What the service is, and what it is not

Resus Review is a revision resource for postgraduate emergency medicine examinations. It contains a question bank, a revision text and mock papers.

It is not clinical advice and must never be used to make a decision about a real patient. Always work from current guidance and your local protocols. Guidelines change, and although we check ours against their sources and correct them when they move, material here may be out of date at the moment you read it.

We are an independent resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Royal College of Emergency Medicine or any other examining body. We do not supply past papers, we do not have access to any live examination, and we do not promise you will pass.

3. Your account

An account is personal to one named individual. Sign-in links are sent to your email address; keep access to that address secure. You may not share an account, your sign-in links, or your access with anyone else, including colleagues in the same department.

4. The free trial

New accounts include 20 questions from the practice bank at no charge and with no card details taken. They are a fixed set — the same twenty questions, one from each of twenty topics, available as often as you like. The revision text and the mock papers are not part of the trial.

5. Subscription, payment and cancellation

6. Your right to cancel (consumers)

If you are a consumer in the UK or EU you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. Because access to the full content begins immediately on subscribing, you are asked at checkout to agree that the service starts at once and to acknowledge that you thereby lose that cancellation right. If you would rather keep it, do not start your subscription until you are ready.

7. What you may do with the material

Your subscription is a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read and use the material for your own revision, for as long as you are subscribed.

You may not:

How this is enforced, stated plainly.

Every page of the revision text carries your name, your email address and the time you opened it, added by our server as the page is sent to you. A copy that reaches anyone else therefore identifies the account it came from. We also log which sections each account opens.

We are telling you this rather than hiding it, because the point is deterrence. We cannot technically prevent a determined person from copying what their own screen displays, and we do not claim to.

8. What happens if you break clause 7

If we reasonably conclude that you have shared or redistributed the material, or shared your account, we may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without refund of any amount already paid, including the remainder of the current period. We may also seek to recover losses caused by the redistribution.

Before terminating we will normally contact you at your registered email and give you an opportunity to explain, unless the redistribution is continuing or the breach is flagrant. If you believe a decision was wrong, reply to that email and a person will review it.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee it. It may be interrupted for maintenance, or by failures of the platforms it runs on. We do not offer credits or refunds for interruptions, though we will act promptly to restore service.

10. Content and corrections

We take accuracy seriously and correct errors when they are found, including those reported by users through the app. Reporting a question does not entitle you to a refund, and we may decline a report where the material is correct as written.

11. Our liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for examination outcomes, loss of opportunity, or indirect or consequential loss.

12. Ending the service

If we withdraw the service entirely we will give at least 30 days' notice by email and refund the unused portion of any period you have paid for.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and you may cancel before they do.

14. If the business incorporates or changes hands

Resus Review is run at present by one person. We may in future incorporate it as a limited company, or transfer it to another business. If we do, this agreement transfers with it: your subscription, your price, your renewal date and everything you have already paid for carry over, and the new provider takes on every obligation we owe you under these terms, including obligations that arose before the transfer.

By agreeing to these terms you agree in advance to that transfer, on these conditions.

This works one way. Your own rights under this agreement are personal to you and you may not transfer them to anyone else.

15. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.
